You're probably back to work today, but we hope you had a great Labor Day. Summer is over, time to go back to school too.  For the past several years, we've packed up the family on Labor Day and headed to Hooper for their Tomato Days 5K.  For a small town it's a big race and the farmers market after the race is awesome.  We love Hooper.

Kurt Hansen has taken over the reigns as RD for the event; we think he and his wife did a great job.  Congratulations to all the runners!

Now get back to work..

Wow!  What a Labor Day morning in Hooper.  The Tomato Days 5K normally attracts a couple hundred runners but today there was over 300 with 110 registering the morning of the race.  Jake & Tiffany Shulz and Mark Jolley (Stride Racing) did an awesome job getting this race started relatively on-time with the amount of runners they had show up this morning. The 5K, 2 Mile Walk and Kids race is always a lot of fun but this year's event was extra special with family and friends coming out to support a Daddy & Daughter's fight with cancer.  It was a sight to see the wave of blue shirts starting then finishing the race; very inspirational to see how people will come together for a cause like that. We love helping community events like this one, can't wait for next year.  Results at www.strideracing.com
